Activities

ACAD's primary activities consist in the meetings and services it provides to its members.

Meetings
ACAD holds an Annual Meeting every January in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U). Services
ACAD supports academic leaders throughout the country by:

* providing opportunities to network and exchange ideas at national meetings;

* creating a virtual community of fellow administrators through the ACAD Listserv;

* offering access to a wealth of resources on the profession of academic administration

* assisting colleges and universities in locating qualified, experienced candidates for academic leadership positions through the ACAD job posting service;

* Listening to its members and responding to their suggestions for making ACAD a leading national organization for academic leaders.
